Lake Merced Summer Run Series #9, 2009

I ran the Lake Merced Summer Run Series #9, an 8K, on August 6th, 2009. My time was 34:42. I was 30th out of 63, and ran an 7:42 pace!

See Jane Run 5K 2009

I ran the See Jane Run 5K in Alameda this Saturday. It was so fun; it was a reward for all of my training! I can't wait to race again! The organizers played Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, blew the horn, and we were off!

Where's Waldo?

I spent most of the race trying to catch up to the lady pushing the stroller. I finally passed her at the end!

I finished 2nd in my age group (19-24), and 34th overall (out of 750). My time was 25:42. I know I can run faster than that with some more training, so I'm looking forward to my next 5k!
